Mit veränderten Reprisen - Summer Academy

During the 2023 Orpheus Historical Piano Summer Academy six young keyboardists from around the world joined us to explore an eighteenth-century practice of varying repeats. C. P. E. Bach’s sonatas with varied repeats—a genre that he pioneered in 1760—served as reference and inspiration for the performance of Mozart’s sonatas K. 279–284 (1774–75).

Christophe Alvarez performs Mozart’s Sonata in E-flat Major, K 282 (Munich, 1775).
