interconnecting sensory, non-linguistic practice and discursive writing in artistic research
How to assist the doctorate student in the arts in explicating the intuitive? That was the question Janneke was invited to share her thoughts on for the Multiplier seminar 'Feedback, feed-forward', organised by Orpheus Instituut in Ghent.

In her essay, Janneke suggests that writing in an artistic PhD context can function as a clarification of a practice or to writing as a practice reflecting itself. Writing helps understanding what one is doing, and also changes the way we look at things and create.
