Artistic Research in Music – an Introduction is a free online course that ran for the first time as an instructor-paced MOOC, with a new module being released every two weeks, from 28 January until 5 May 2019. Updated versions were released in September 2019 and September 2020.
A fourth run will launch on 13 September 2021 as a self-paced MOOC and will be available until 12 June 2022. 'Self-paced' means that all content will be available immediately.

A great and inspiring course! Challenging and up to date. It made me reconsider some of the processes in my PhD work.

By the end of this course, through completing the assignments of this course you will effectively have produced a complete research proposal.
The methodology, examples, and organisation of topics was clear, consistent, and beautiful. Artistic investigations are very interesting (articulation of theory and practice).
Although I'm an experienced researcher and practitioner I still found lots of fertile and stimulating material here.
