docARTES is an international inter-university doctoral programme for practice-based research in musical arts, designed for musician-researchers  (performers, composers, improvisors, etc.). docARTES provides a doctoral curriculum, consisting of research and training. It allows doctoral students to develop their artistic qualities, broaden their academic knowledge and expand their methodological skills. This curriculum is supplemented by individual research supervision and is integrated in a professional artistic research biotope, preparing doctoral fellows for a professional career as artistic researcher.

IMPORTANT: Please note that there will be only one round of entrance examinations for the docARTES programme 2015-2016.
