Visiting Researcher Vanessa Tomlinson showcases recent collaborations at Orpheus Institute

Vanessa Tomlinson - Australian percussionist and Associate Professor in Music at Queensland Conservatorium (Griffith University) - is Visiting Researcher at the Orpheus Research Centre in Music [ORCiM] from November 2013 until January 2014.
This mini-concert features new experimental provocations and collaborations with resident ORCiM Fellows set up during Vanessa's stay in Ghent. A series of 6 new works experimenting with making sound; kinetic music made by ropes and splayed electronics; music inspired by the notion of “time crystals”; music for the body; and music for the imagination itself.
